•all 8th graders will be going on a field trip to the Ft. Scott Community Colleges' satellite campus in the Pittsburg Industrial Park to learn about vocational programs they offer. They will leave at 8:15 a.m. and return to school shortly after 11 a.m. for lunch.
•remaining 8th grade science classes will use their class time to review electricity concepts and study for their test coming up Wednesday.
